Story
"Skin Deep" is a bone-chilling short horror game that puts you in the shoes of Sam, a normal girl who works the night shift as a cashier in a quiet, local mini mart. One seemingly ordinary night, Sam's life takes a turn when she begins receiving unsettling letters from an anonymous admirer.

"Skin Deep" is a short horror game developed in rpg maker, featuring original pixel graphics, story-driven gameplay, and multiple endings. The game is inspired by the works of Junji Ito, R. L. Stine, Chilla's Art, and Puppet combo.

Interesting game, and I absolutely adore the artstyle, but the fact that you have to start all over when you lose is very frustrating, wish there was a way to choose the day you want to play after you've already won.

Thanks for the response, there was just so many other 'horror story' shows back then, I remember one with a gross oversized set of a beetle and a maggot larva in a diner too, don't recall its name :l
This game was really awesome! I wish that you could choose a day to play, because trying to play through it several times to get both endings was a bit of a pain lol

I really enjoyed playing through this game! It was a fun/creepy premise and I enjoyed both endings. I wouldn't have minded another ending, but in all honesty I think that's just because I enjoyed it so much that I wanted more gameplay, not because it needed it. Thank you so much for sharing!

Hi, here a hint for the 2nd ending: when you wake up on the second day of work, after reading the creepy note "Your Skin, Your Skin, Your Skin", go to the phone in the kitchen (the room on the left of the house) and call the police.
From here on, it's up to you. ;-)
